Traditionally made using long fermentation processes, we offer a wide variety of rolls ranging from mini dinner rolls including ciabatta and poppy seed twist to large deli rolls made from a variety of grain flours and finished with a number of different toppings.  Why not try one of our newly launched onion, sun-dried tomato or black olive baguettes!

Our range of breads are hand crafted and made with the finest quality white, wholemeal, wheatgrain and Mediterranean style flours.  We also produce excellent crusty breads ideal for cutting and serving with piping hot soup including petite pains and baguettes made with traditional French flour.

Our range of confectionery includes traditional favourites such as Empire Biscuits, French Fancies, Coconut Snowballs etc, as well as a range of new tulip style muffins including double chocolate, raspberry & white chocolate and chocolate chip. Why not try one of our traditional tarts made with our renowned shortcrust pastry base? Choose from raspberry, strawberry, toffee, citrus or our best selling pineapple!

Our traditional cakes are famous for their quality and come in a variety of flavours such as Cherry, Sultana , Madeira & Ginger “Loaf” cakes.

Mathiesons Foods are proud to manufacture a large range of branded whisky and whisky liqueur cakes. These can be ordered via our mail order system.

Expertly manufactured within our fresh cream room facility by our highly experienced craft team. We can provide a range of sizes and flavour profiles. Our most popular gateaux are; Strawberry, Black Forest Cherry, Double Chocolate & Chocolate and Mandarin & Orange.

Our freshly made Buttermilk scones are renowned for their light fluffy texture and creamy taste… they are delicious with fresh cream & jam or with good quality butter. Why not also try our delicious Scotch Pancakes made to the traditional Scottish recipe.

Fruit tarts are a delicious dessert for sharing and come in a range of varieties such as rhubarb, apple and apple & cinnamon.  Serve these with a nice cup of tea or indulge yourself and try with a cappuccino!  These are also delicious served hot with fresh cream, custard or a spoonful of your favourite ice cream for that special family treat!

Our range of traditional teabreads include cookies, iced buns and cream cookies. They make an ideal snack.

We have recently introduced a new range of shortbreads and “Oaties“ biscuits. These come packaged for your convenience and freshness. We also produce a variety of traditional Scottish favourites including Raspberry Oaties and Date & Cinnamon Oaties.

 Our range of pastries are light and flaky and make for a real treat. An all year favourite is our Apple Danish with our Strawberry Danish, a particular favourite during the summer months

We produce Scotland’s favourite pies, sausage rolls and bridies and have are proud to have won the "Gold Medal" for our famous Mathiesons Scotch Pies.  We also have vegetarian options within our range such as our delicious macaconi pies.
