Welcome to Mathiesons

Established in 1872 Mathiesons is a traditional  bakery and confectionery business based within our BRC accredited state of the art production facility in Larbert, which is conveniently positioned within the central belt of Scotland. 

Within this facility we manufacture a wide range of high quality hand crafted bakery and confectionery goods for a large range of wholesale and multiple retailers as well as servicing our own 36 shops from Elgin in the North of Scotland to Gretna in the Borders. Our retail outlets trade under the brand names of Mathiesons and James Allan, with the majority positioned within major towns and cities across the central belt. 

Within our production facility we have 3 designated areas for  manufacturing:

• Bakery

• Fresh Cream Operation

• Savoury Operation

This provides our customers with a consistently high quality and extensive product range which allows us to be flexible and meet our customers needs.
